Ascent Honored with Family Wealth Report Award

Earlier this month, Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank received top honors in the “Multi-Family Office (Client Initiative)” category for Family Wealth Report’s 9th annual awards.

The award recognizes two of Ascent’s unique programs, both launched in 2021: the CFO Services reporting platform, and Enwoven, a digital offering that helps clients document their family histories.

The CFO Services platform represents the next generation in comprehensive analytics and reporting. Historically, family office reporting has been “siloed,” with separate reports provided quarterly or annually on functions like investment returns, philanthropic activity, cash management, and estate planning and trusts. This made it challenging for family members to get a consolidated view of the state of their enterprises.

The CFO Services reporting platform addresses this by gathering data from across the enterprise and presenting it to the family in a highly visual, user-friendly format, incorporating table views, graphs, and charts. It can be used to quickly generate insight into overall family liquidity and estate status.

Enwoven is a simple yet robust and user-friendly platform that is both a living archive and a storytelling device. This dynamic multimedia cloud storage system allows for the collection of multimedia content from multiple sources (and in multiple formats, including video and audio) and organizes it into visual frameworks like a slideshow, timeline, and map. The content, which looks similar to a Facebook profile page, can be accessed from anywhere in the world and appeals to rising-generation digital natives, particularly millennials and Generation Z.

Ascent was also short-listed for awards in several other categories, including:

  1. Multi-Family Office ($5 billion to $15 billion AuM/AuA)
  2. Impact Investing (product)
  3. Outstanding Contribution to Wealth Management Thought Leadership (company)

The Family Wealth Report awards recognize outstanding organizations that have demonstrated innovation and excellence during the last year. Each category is highly contested and is subject to a rigorous process before the ultimate winner is selected by the judges.
